This workshop will provide a wide range of tools, activities and techniques which can be utilized in work with families to help them achieve their goals.  As well, participants will learn to use effective techniques to deal with common therapeutic issues. Utilizing play in family work increases engagement, decreases resistance, and allows family members to have fun while moving towards their therapeutic goals.  Play techniques and tools will focus on helping family members express feelings, communicate with each other more effectively,  increase co-operation and sharing, and enhance self-regulation. Additionally, skills and techniques to terminate treatment effectively with clients will be discussed. Greg will provide a clear framework in order to plan termination as well as present concrete strategies and activities to support it being a positive process.
