Body-Mapping provides self-reflective tools that can be used to address a broad range of  body concerns, such as trauma, illness, self-image, treatment and self-care. Participants create a body tracing and spend the day in  creative response to a series of 24 directives as a personal exploration. This workshop is geared towards art therapy students & practitioners, social workers, counselors, and art teachers.

No art experience needed             Please wear painting clothes


Facilitator: Christine Lummis, BA, DKATI, RCAT.  Christine is a Doctoral candidate & registered art therapist and instructor with 17 years experience. She is currently facilitating Body-Mapping workshops internationally for research on cultural implications of mind-body interventions, and she is focused on neuroscience and trauma. Christine is also author of The Use of Art Therapy in the Treatment of Addictions  and former Vice President of the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA).
